This week we continue our journey through the Book of Acts, focusing on Acts 2 and Peter’s message following the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We’ll look at how Peter connects the events of Pentecost with the prophets, the promised Christ, His death and resurrection, and God’s calling of His people. We’ll also consider the remarkable biblical theme of “the woman’s seed”, and finish with Peter’s call to repentance and the example of the early Church—a people marked by steadfast faith, fellowship, prayer and fervent charity toward one another.
