It has been a different week this week between outreaches. Over last weekend we sailed back to Lae and said goodbye to a lot of the volunteers that were on for one outreach. It is a different feeling with only 50 odd people on the ship, much quieter and very relaxed.

We went into the city for Church on Sunday which was nice, a huge church and definitely on PNG time, about an hour of worship and an hour sermon and the whole service went for over 2.5hrs! Definitely a time to just sit back and take it all in. We spent a lot of time at the start of the week restocking and cleaning out the supplies for next outreach. Meanwhile other volunteers have been working on cleaning up the ship. Ben has done a few trips into town to purchase taps and other things to take to the villages. Last outreach there was not many taps and they ran out in a few days so thanks to some generous donations at the end of last outreach we have been able to purchase 16 for the next outreach. I have spent some time doing up a new physio resource and looking into a few physio things and Ben has been helping out with a few cabinetry needs.

The new volunteers are arriving today so there will be a weekend of orientation for them and we will sail down to Popondetta for the next outreach in Oro Province.
