Welcome to our blog page! In 7 weeks time Ben and I head overseas for our mission trip so let me introduce you all to what we will be up to for the next 6 months.

Ben an I spent a month in Thailand in January this year where we volunteered with a group through an organisation called Operation Mobilisation. We worked in a Christian School in Northern Thailand where we provided relief English teaching to high school classes. We fell in love with the Thai people and culture and could see the need in the school for volunteer help, especially teaching English as they are very short on teaching staff. Ben and I plan to return to this school to volunteer for 3 months from October- January. We are very excited to reconnect with all the wonderful people we met on our last trip and to share God’s love in a place where so many people have not heard about Jesus and his great gift of Grace.

During our last trip Ben and I also spoke to people in Thailand who were involved with the OM Ship Ministry and we heard about the amazing work that they do, we decided to look into this further but we were also interested in using our skills to serve in mission. With some further investigation and a lot of prayer we were then accepted onto the YWAM Medical Ships in Papua New Guinea. This medical ship travels around the boarder of PNG and offers medical treatment and education to the communities there that are otherwise difficult to reach by land. In a country that has such poor health and life expectancy it will be an honour to be able to assist the people there and show love to our nearest neighbouring country. Our three months on board the ship will include 2-3 week outreaches where we will be visiting different areas to bring the word of God, medical treatment/education and construction/repair work.

We are very blessed to have the opportunity to go on this trip and are so thankful that God has put this on our hearts and that we have such wonderful support around us. We would like to ask for prayer for us during our time abroad. Prayer that we are able to assist in the needs of the people we visit and most importantly share Gods love and the great gift of his Salvation. We will be writing a blog here to keep everyone updated on our travels as we are able. If anyone is interested in supporting us you are welcome to contact us directly or we have a GoFundMe page at https://www.gofundme.com/ben-and-ange039s-mission-trip.

Also we are putting on a trivia night fundraiser on the 30th June and we hope to see everyone there!
